Ever heard of a mop that's super simple, eco-friendly, and gets the job done without any fancy bells and whistles?

 

That's basically the Cuban mop in a nutshell.

They're a great lightweight option that's tough on dirt, and soft on your wallet - and the environment!

  • Widely available and affordable.

  • Extremely simple and inexpensive

  • Uses readily available materials like old rags/towels (try microfiber!)

  • Easy to store

  • Can be used wet or dry

  • Difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. 

  • Strings trap dirt and bacteria - yuck! 

  • ​Not be effective on all floor types (uneven surfaces)

  • Replacement mop heads can be costly.

  • Requires heavy bucket of water.

  • May take longer for very dirty floors ​

Cuban Mops
